The Register
The Approved Housing Bodies Register (AHB Register) contains a full list of registered AHBs.
All AHBs should check this register to confirm that the details held are accurate. If you identify any errors or there has been a change in your circumstances, you should contact AHBRA by emailing registration@ahbregulator.ie.
Compliance Entries and the Register
The AHB Register includes entries in relation to an AHB’s compliance with the Standards for the AHBs.
Following an assessment of compliance against the Standards, an AHB may be required to enter into a compliance plan. Where a compliance plan has been approved by AHBRA, an entry will be made on the AHB Register which will include summary details of the measures taken, or proposed to be taken, by the AHB to address the areas of non-compliance identified during the assessment process.
Where an AHB does not submit a compliance plan as requested by AHBRA within the timeframe specified in the notice issued, or where AHBRA rejects the compliance plan submitted, AHBRA will issue a notice of non-compliance to the AHB and enter the details of the notice in the AHB Register.
